Facilities
Renter must provide Insurance certificate with Juan Island Park and Recreation District named as additionally insured. The insurance policy shall provide General Liability insurance with no limits, no less than $1,000,000 each occurrence, $1,000,000 general aggregate and contain or be endorsed to contain that the User Group’s insurance coverage shall be primary insurance as respect to the District.
Note:
FIELD RENTAL RESERVATIONS REQUIRED WHEN :
• Use of an athletic field is by a league or organization, company or school, or is an organized social use (birthdays, parties, picnics, etc.), or is a community event or Special Event.
• Specific reserved time is desired.
• Services from the park staff are requested.
• Gathering size is a group of approximately 20-25 people or more.
• One person or more want exclusive use of a field for a unique activity or purpose.
• Hired or volunteer services, such as clinicians, entertainment, catering, etc. is an element of the use.
• Gathering includes high risk activities, or participant waivers.
• Gathering is for a business purpose, involves sales, advertising, or admissions.
• Use requires request to use bbq or amplified sound.
• Gathering is beyond the scope of intended use of a facility.
Some fields may not be available due to league play, team practices, school district use, weather related issues, work projects, or other pre-scheduled events. Island Rec reserves the right to approve or deny use of any field at the John O. Linde Community Park.
HOURS OF USE:
7:00 am to Dusk (9:00 pm in summer)
The Park may be accessed at 7 am, organized activity may not begin until 8:00 am. All game play must end by dusk (8:45 pm during summer), whether a game has finished all innings or not. The facility must be vacated by the designated closing time (9:00pm in summer).
