Animal Sanctuary Kids Camp - Ages 8-11
Participants will spend their day exploring, playing, and learning together onsite at Heaven on Earth Animal Retirement Sanctuary. Founded in 2023, Heaven on Earth is happy to welcome campers into their world of caring for rescued and retired farmed animals.. Make friends with goats, donkeys, llamas, sheep, and more during these three exciting days of camp.
Daily activities will include helping take care of animals, including learning how to tell each one apart, what each one eats, how to brush them, and how to clean their shelters. We will also spend time exploring trails in the woods, art projects, games and of course lots of animal friendly snacks.
This camp is ideal for children who:
• are interested in nature, animals, and the world around them
• can use soft voices and still bodies around animals
• can remain calm and not pursue animals if they walk away or hide
• are open to trying new things
• can stand, walk, and be active for most of the day

Note:
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes daily. We strongly encourage participants to bring a plant-based lunch and snacks each day. Detailed directions for drop-off and pick-up will be emailed the week before camp.
